One home. Every screen. Every feature.

Both plans unlock the same product, with every feature. They differ only in how you pay and how long new versions keep coming. One licence covers one home, with as many screens and users as you like.

Paddle, our reseller, adds your country's VAT or sales tax, and shows the total before you pay.

On sale from November 2026. Until then, try the demo: the same screens, on a made-up house.

  • Yours to use forever, on one home
  • Every new version for one year
  • After that year you keep the last version released in it, with the security fixes of its LTS line

What each plan keeps

A subscription runs while you pay. A one-time licence is yours for good.

An example

  1. 1 March 2027Ana buys the one-time licence.
  2. Until 15 March 2027She can still have her money back.
  3. Until 1 March 2028She gets every new version.
  4. After 1 March 2028She keeps, forever, the last version released by then, with the security fixes of its LTS line.
  5. Later versionsThey need another year of updates.

If a version newer than her LTS line is installed when her year ends, the dashboard tells her, and she reinstalls her LTS version from HACS.

The monthly subscription brings every new version while it runs. When it ends, Nucleum Hub shows only the screen to activate a licence, with a button to Home Assistant: your home keeps running, and you control it from the Home Assistant app. Subscribe again, or buy the one-time licence, and everything comes back with your setup as you left it.

The one-time licence brings every new version for one year, then you keep the last of them. Once a year one version is marked LTS (long-term support): its line gets security fixes for at least 5 years, and the end date is on the releases page. More years of updates can be bought later; their price is not set yet.

60-minute trial

Every feature, on your own home, by the clock. No card, no e-mail. It starts when you add the integration, once per Home Assistant installation. When it ends, Nucleum Hub shows only the screen to activate a licence; your home keeps running in Home Assistant.

How the trial works

Both plans include

  • One home, unlimited screens and users. One home means one Home Assistant installation.

  • A test installation, free. Run a second, test Home Assistant on the same licence. It shows a permanent “Test” badge and stops 7 days after its last check with our server.

  • Moving made easy. Restoring a Home Assistant backup keeps your licence. Move it to new hardware yourself, up to 3 times in 12 months. More moves, or passing the licence on with your house, go through support.

  • Updates inside Home Assistant, with release notes, and a way back to an earlier version from HACS.

  • Your home never depends on us. Without a licence Nucleum Hub shows only its activation screen, while your devices, automations and the Home Assistant app keep working.

  • Support by e-mail, with a first reply within 2 working days as our target; the same working day if the dashboard stops loading.

  • Paddle’s customer portal for your payments, invoices and card, and to cancel a subscription.

Without internet

The integration checks the licence in your Home Assistant, and your screens need no internet. Your Home Assistant needs to reach our server now and then.

Trial

Needs internet when you add the integration, to start the trial.

Monthly subscription

The integration checks the licence with our server about once a day. Without these checks the licence stops 7 days after the end of the month you paid for.

One-time licence

Needs one successful check after its first 14 days, within the 90 days after them; from then on it works without internet. After 30 days without a check, Nucleum Hub asks you to connect Home Assistant, so it keeps getting the security fixes.

Refunds and cancelling

  • Your legal 14 days to withdraw, on both plans, without giving a reason: you get your first payment back. Businesses get the same 14 days from us.

  • Monthly renewals are not refunded when you change your mind. Cancel any time: the subscription ends with the month you paid for, and you keep every feature until then.

  • Cancel within 14 days of your first payment on our page or by e-mail, and you get that payment back: the refund ends the licence and the subscription at once. To keep the month you paid for instead, reply to our confirmation before we refund it. Cancelling in Paddle’s customer portal only stops the renewal.

  • Cancel in Paddle’s customer portal, from the link in Paddle’s e-mails, or on Cancel your subscription here. No phone call.

  • After a refund the licence ends and Nucleum Hub shows only the screen to activate a licence. Your setup stays in Home Assistant.

  • Price changes: subscribers hear about a new price at least 30 days before it applies, and can cancel before it does.

  • To withdraw online: Withdraw from contract here.

The full rules are in the Terms of sale and Refunds and withdrawal.

Who sells it

Your order is processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment, issues your receipt and invoice, and handles VAT and sales tax. Your card details and invoices stay with Paddle: we never see your card. Your licence key comes from us, by e-mail, right after payment.

  • Prices are set in euros, before tax. Paddle adds the VAT or sales tax of your country. Each plan above shows its final price for your country when Paddle can work it out here, and the checkout shows the total before you pay.
  • Buying for a company? Enter your VAT number at checkout. Where the rules allow, you pay without VAT.

Fair pricing, in writing

  • The launch offer is real: €3 a month before tax for the first 3 months, for the first 50 subscribers, and the counter shows the places left.
  • No fake discounts: we only strike through a price we really charged.
  • A one-time licence you bought is never touched by a later price rise.
  • Subscribers get 30 days’ notice of a new price.

Not included

  • Cloud services hosted by us. Your setup lives in your Home Assistant.
  • A PIN lock for editing. It is planned for later.
  • Hardware and other licences: the tablet, a Fully Kiosk PLUS licence, Home Assistant Cloud by Nabu Casa.

A second home? An installer?

A second home needs its own licence: one licence covers one Home Assistant installation, plus one for testing.

Questions about plans

What happens when the 60-minute trial ends?

Nucleum Hub shows only the screen to activate a licence, with a button to Home Assistant. Your home keeps running, and you control it from the Home Assistant app as before. Buy a licence, paste the key, and everything comes back with your setup as you left it.

Why only 60 minutes?

The demo shows the whole product on a made-up house, for as long as you like. The trial is for checking it on your own home: your rooms, your energy, your tablet. An hour is enough for that, and your legal 14 days to withdraw are there if you change your mind after buying.

How many screens and homes does one licence cover?

One home, with unlimited screens and users. One home means one Home Assistant installation. You can also run one test installation on the same licence; it shows a “Test” badge. A second home needs its own licence.

What happens if I stop the subscription?

It ends with the month you paid for. Then Nucleum Hub shows only the screen to activate a licence; your setup stays in Home Assistant, and a new subscription or a one-time licence brings everything back.

What do I keep with the one-time licence?

The licence itself, forever, on one home. New versions come for one year; after that you keep the last version released in that year, with the security fixes of its LTS line.

Who sells it, and who sends the invoice?

Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment, sends the receipt and the invoice, and handles VAT and sales tax. We never see your card. Your licence key comes from us, by e-mail.
