Support end dates

LTS lineReleasedSecurity fixes until
1.0November 2026November 2031

Each LTS line gets security fixes for at least 5 years, and the date is shown here, as month and year, before you buy.

How to read it

  • Version numbers follow the usual pattern, major.minor.patch. A patch fixes things. A minor version adds features. A major version would change something you have to act on, and we would say so clearly.
  • LTS marks a long-term support version: one a year, the first is 1.0. When the year of updates of a one-time licence ends, it keeps the last version released by then and the security fixes of its LTS line.
  • Security marks a release that fixes a vulnerability. Install these first.
  • No fixed schedule. Versions come out when there is something worth shipping, at first mostly fixes for what you report.

Each entry lists what is New, Changed, Fixed and, when there is one, Security.
